Implementing VNPT Group's policy on cadre work, VNPT's Board of Members recently decided to appoint the General Director of VNPT Media Corporation (VNPT-Media). On the morning of June 19th 2019, VNPT Group held a Ceremony to announce and award this decision to Mr. Duong Thanh Long, Acting General Director of VNPT Media Corporation. 

Speaking at the ceremony, the new General Director of VNPT-Media - Mr. Duong Thanh Long expressed his gratitude to the leaders of VNPT Group and the staff of VNPT Media Corporation. Before being officially appointed as the General Director of VNPT-Media, Mr. Duong Thanh Long had worked as the Acting General Director of VNPT-Media for more than 1 year. Under the leadership of Mr. Duong Thanh Long and VNPT-Media's Board of Directors, in 2018, VNPT-Media had successfully completed the tasks and targets assigned by VNPT Group, as well as made breakthroughs in many areas... With the successes achieved in 2018, the new General Director of VNPT-Media expressed his commitment to bring the Corporation's digital services grow strongly in both revenue and profit, especially to realize the VNPT 4.0 Strategic goals set by VNP Group for VNPT-Media.

At the ceremony, Mr. Huynh Quang Liem, VNPT's Deputy General Director, VNPT-Media President, congratulated Mr. Duong Thanh Long, the new General Director of VNPT-Media. Over the past year, in the position of VNPT-Media's Acting General Director, Mr. Duong Thanh Long and VNPT-Media's leaders had carried out a huge amount of governance work with a strong spirit in order to  bringing VNPT-Media's key services such as VNPT-Pay and MyTV to catch up quickly with the development of the market. In the coming time, the task of VNPT-Media's New General Director is to continue to raise VNPT's position in the ecological system of VNPT.

Speaking at the appointment ceremony, Mr. Tran Manh Hung, Chairman of VNPT's Board of Members congratulated the new General Director of VNPT Media Corporation. VNPT President Tran Manh Hung assessed that under the management of Mr. Duong Thanh Long, in 2018, VNPT-Media had many changes and breakthroughs in many fields, especially MyTV service.

 In the coming time, the new General Director of VNPT-Media and the leaders of the Corporation would need to have boarder vision, longer-term development strategy, especially to help the young employers of the Corporation to have a strong start-up spirit, as well as to make VNPT-Media become a driving force, a growth engine of VNPT Group in the current digital transformation period. Mr. Tran Manh Hung, VNPT's President believed that the new General Director of VNPT-Media would expand current successes, continue to make VNPT-Media develop quickly and strongly, worthy of the Group's expectations.
