The data from the DPI system contains Internet usage habits of customers, on which analysis can be carried out to produce insightful results, including:

  • Location: obtain the geographical location and commuting information of customers
  • Interest: what products the customers are interested in or desire to have
  • Customer experience when using the service.
 

Additionally, when combined with other data, the system can even define who the customer is, based on age, gender as well as social connections. These indicators help improving customer services, clustering VIP customers for special treatments as well as developing and deploying new services based on customer characteristics.
