On April 9th 2018, the hand-over ceremony of the General Director of VNPT Media Corporation (VNPT-Media) between Mr. Ngo Dien Hy and Mr. Duong Thanh Long had been held in Hanoi. After the hand-over ceremony, Mr. Duong Thanh Long officially manages and operates all of VNPT-Media's business.

Accordingly, the contents of the hand-over include the legal document on the executive operation of VNPT-Media according to the Decision No. 89/QD-VNPT-HDTV-TCCB dated 8 May 2015 of the Chairman of VNPT's Board of Members on the establishment of VNPT Media Corporation and the General Decision No. 147/QD-VNPT-HDTV-TCCB dated 10/6/2015 of the Chairman of VNPT's Board of Members which temporarily issuing the corporation's charter of organization and operation.

 

 

The hand-over record shows main business areas with statistics as of the date of signing, including personnel work, finance, investment accounting and market development.

 

 

At the hand-over ceremony, Mr. Duong Thanh Long, the new General Director of VNPT-Media, said that he will make efforts and face difficulties and challenges to lead VNPT-Media to reach the targets set by Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT). He will also direct VNPT-Media towards creating new and breakthrough services in the coming time.

Mr. Ngo Dien Hy, the former General Director of VNPT-Media also shared about his 3 years with VNPT-Media and the road VNPT-Media had gone through to reach the corporation's current achievement. Mr. Hy also frankly admitted that although VNPT-Media had fulfilled the plan assigned by the Group over the past years, the corporation had not really made a breakthrough. The former CEO also hoped that with the new CEO, VNPT-Media would have more breakthroughs in the coming years.

Speaking at the hand-over ceremony, Mr. To Manh Cuong, Vice General Director of VNPT, Chairman of VNPT-Media, acknowledged the contributions of Mr. Ngo Dien Hy to the development of VNPT-Media in the previous years. He believed that in the new position at VNPT-IT Company, Mr. Hy would continue to make more positive contribution to the development of the Group. Mr. To Manh Cuong also hoped that the new General Director, Mr. Duong Thanh Long, would lead VNPT-Media to brighter successes with his experience from VNPT-Technology.
