On October 11th, at VNPT Headquarters,VNPT-Media Communications has launched VNPT MyEnglish service. The service helps users to practice speaking English with Anglo-American accent, enhance listening, pronunciation and vocabulary in the shortest possible time.

Attending the launching ceremony were General Director of VNPT-Media Ngo Dien Hy, together with representatives from VNPT Group's departments. On the partner's side, there were Mr. Alan Schwart, Founder and CEO of EnglishCentral, the leading online training company in USA. The highlights of VNPT MyEnglish are the use of intelligent speech recognition (Intelli Speech) and advanced adaptive learning technology. This technology allows learners not only to interact with video lessons through an electronic workbook, select the correct answers, look up words in the service's dictionary during the lessons, but also record their own voices for grading and later comparison with standard voices. Besides, the students' vocabulary and level of fluency are on a scale of 0-100.

The benefit of using this feature is that learners are trained to avoid fundamental errors in pronunciation, avoid the possibility of phonetic spelling because of wrong pronunciation.
