In the morning of July 26 2017, at the VNPT building, 57 Huynh Thuc Khang, Hanoi, the online talkshow "Vietnam Talent Awards with Creative Technology, Smart Connectivity " was held to promote the highlights of Vietnam Talent Awards 2017, with special guests being leading experts in the IT field and previous high-achiever contestants over the years.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the organizers, sponsors and many reporters.

As the representative from a leading IT group, and also the co-organizer and main sponsor of the Awards over the past 12 years, Mr. Huynh Quang Liem, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) shared: “As the co-organizer of the Awards, VNPT Group always expects more and more contestants to participate, as well as expects to honor talents of the country in different fields, such as IT, Science Technology, Environment, Public health, etc. With the position as a key IT group, VNPT wants to call for the cooperation of the national IT community to contribute to the Fourth Industrial Revolution that is happening in Vietnam. VNPT hopes the theme “creative connectivity” will attract many creative works for the Awards. We hope the talent of Vietnam Talent Awards participants will shine further; and we hope the talkshow will inspire more candidates to join the Awards.

Mr. Huynh Quang Liem, Deputy General of VNPT Group, Co-chairman of the Organization Committe of the awards gave speech at the talkshow.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Tan - Deputy General Director of VNPT Media Corporation, Vice Chairman of the Organization Committee shared that with the help of Dan Tri News, VNPT will also support all contestants in promoting their works on the media channels that VNPT owns, right from the moment they decide to apply for Vietnam Talent Awards as well as throughout the whole process of cooperating with VNPT in general and VNPT-Media in particular.

According to Mr. Tan, currently VNPT Group owns a variety of communication system, such as: VnMedia Online news,  MyTV, Xa Hoi Thong Tin... Besides, VNPT also owns online media channels as the tools to spread the news, to share the informations quickly to the contestants. For example, the entire content of the talkshow is being continuously streamed on social networks, on MyTV television. Questions are also delivered directly to the online discussion through VnMedia Online News. These communications channels are assigned to VNPT-Media Corporation by VNPT for management, business and development. This is also the reason why VNPT-Media participated in the Vietnam Talent Award as a media sponsor.

The Awards ceremony will be held on November 20  and will be broadcasted live on Vietnam National Television.

Moreover, when being asked about VNPT’s role in supporting the start-up community, Mr. Tan shared that with this contest, VNPT is not only the sponsor - the unit that created the playground for start-ups but also a collaborative partner.

Mr. Nguyen Van Tan, Deputy General Director of VNPT-Media Corporation, said that VNPT will provide media support for participants before, during and after the Awards.

Mr. Nguyen Van Tan said that VNPT is ready to share their the infrastructure, technology and distributing system with startups to help them build their products and services.
