Vietnam Talent Award 2017 will be launched with the goal of seeking, discovering and honoring talents in the fields of Science, Technology, Medicine, Environment and Talent Encouragement.

Science and Technology: The award is given to individual, group of individuals or group of excellent researches that have been applied in practice to achieve socio-economic efficiency. Winner of each category will receive 100 million VND

Medicine and Pharmaceutical: The award is given to individual, group of individuals or groups of excellent researches in medicine and pharmacy which have been applied in practice to achieve high efficiency in medical examination and treatment as well as socio-economic significance. Winner of each category will receive 100 million VND

Environmental field: Environmental protection awards will be granted to group of individuals or organizations in the community (public assembly, students or student collectives, club members ...), enterprises or individuals with outstanding achievements in the environmental protection and construction of green residential areas. Three levels of prize will be awarded: First Prize worth 100 million VND, Second Prize worth 50 million VND and Third Prize worth 30 million VND.

Talent Encouragement Prize: The category is proposed by the Vietnam Study Encouragement Association to encourage self-learning and self-research attitude to create products and academic works that bring about benefits for the local community and surrounding areas.

Highly appreciating the achievement of Vietnam Talent Awards, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Viet Tien, Deputy Minister of Health claimed The Ministry of Health also constantly seeks talents in the field of medicine to make worthy nomination for the awards. The selection of worthy candidates requires a thorough screening and evaluation process from the Ministry.

More importantly, the awards have motivated individuals and collectives in the medical system to gain recognition in the field of Medicine. This would greatly benefit the community and patients, said Deputy Minister.

Entries are opened until the end of Sep 30th, 2017; grading process will follow up, starting from Oct 1st to Nov 15th, 2017. The award ceremony will be held in Hanoi on Nov 16th, 2017 and broadcasted live on Vietnam Television. Registration to participate in the IT category will be closed by the end of Sept 30th, 2017.
