1. How can I install and use VietTalk?

Customers use their mobile phone numbers to register and activate VietTalk accounts in the following steps:

+ Enter your phone number to receive the confirmation code from VietTalk call center (from SMS or call agents).

+ Enter the conformation code to activate your VietTalk account.

- If the registered account is a VinaPhone subscriber and uses 3G connection, the system will automatically verify the phone number of that account and will not require the confirmation code. (For more details, please visit http://download.viettalk.vn).

2. How cost-saving and convenient is VietTalk?

The unique feature of VietTalk is its free 3G Data  for VinaPhone subscribers; thus, users of this network can send messages and use all utilities completely free of charge. Particularly, the SMS/Call Out feature also enables uninterrupted and continuous connectivity.  VietTalk’s SMS out/call out allows customers to call and text to non-users of VietTalk or offline VietTalk users at 40% lower charges than conventional telecommunication charges.

This is a very convenient feature for overseas students or people who usually travel or do business abroad.

3. How can I send messages  to offline users?

When your friends are offline, your VietTalk messages will be automatically converted to conventional SMS to ensure 24/7 connection between the sender and the recipient. Moreover, these messages will be charged accordingly with the registered package.

4. What are the available packages that VietTalk offers and how are they charged?

VietTalk is currently offering 2 packages:

+ Basic VietTalk package: SMS out is charged at 120 VND/SMS for messages to VinaPhone subscribers and at 300 VND/SMS for messages to subscribers of other networks. Call charge is at 720 VND/min for calls to VNPT landline, VinaPhone network and at 800 VND/min for calls to other networks.

+ Advanced VietTalk package (V 2.0): unlimited package with free messages to VinaPhone subscribers and 10 minutes of free call to VNPT landline and VinaPhone mobiles. Additional charges are as follows: message charge is at 300 VND/SMS for off-net subscribers; call charge is at 720 VND /min for calls to VNPT landline and VinaPhone mobiles and at 800 VND/min for calls to other networks. 7. How can I set up chat passwords?

Setting up chat passwords helps users protect their private information. To set up a password, go to Settings > Account settings > Privacy settings > Set up chat passwords.

By turning “On”, you will activate this feature and be able ensure your privacy in each conversation.

How can I block or unblock contacts?

To block any users, you can choose one of the following ways:

- Click settings in chat box 1-1 > Block users

- Go to Settings > Account settings > Blocked list > Choose users to block or unblock.

* To ensure privacy, once users unblock a contact, they have to send another friend request to that contact. However, two users can only interact (Text/Like/Comment) when one of them accepts the friend request.

8. What are the distinct features of VietTalk?

VietTalk has the following distinct features:
