VNPT Money received the highest level PCI-DSS security certificate
On June 29, after passing 12 groups of strict security
standards, VNPT Money digital financial ecosystem of Vietnam Posts and
Telecommunications Group (VNPT) officially received the international
certificate of PCI security. DSS 3.2.1 Level 1 - the highest level according to
the PCI DSS security standard.
On the morning of June 29, 2022, just one year after receiving the PCI DSS 3.2.1 Level 2 certificate, VNPT Money was honored to receive the PCI-DSS level 1 certificate. Reaching the highest level in the certification system, this prestigious international security indicator shows VNPT Money's constant efforts in investing in upgrading the security system, in order to give customers the safest experience when using the service.
PCI DSS (Payment Card Indutry Data Security Standard) - is a security standard established by the Security Standards Council (PCI Security Standards Council) including members: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB International. This is a globally recognized information security standard certificate and is a mandatory standard for all organizations and businesses involved in the processing, transmission and storage of payment card data.
VNPT Money has passed 12 groups of strict evaluation standards of PCI DSS such as: building and maintaining a firewall system to protect payment card data, regularly using and updating anti-virus software, building building and maintaining systems and applications to ensure network security, etc. In addition, VNPT Money also meets the requirements of multi-factor authentication, security standards in data encryption of PCI DSS 3.2.1 at the first level.
