After nearly 2 years of pilot implementation, nearly 1.8 million customers
have registered and used VNPT's Mobile Money service.
Of which, the number of customers registering and using services in rural, mountainous, remote, border and island areas accounts for 71%, the number of Mobile Money business points reaches nearly 3,500 points.
Up to this point, users with Mobile Money accounts can make direct money transfers to more than 100 million payment accounts opened at banks and vice versa. In addition, VNPT Money has successfully integrated the feature of transferring and receiving money from Mobile Money via VietQR code of banks at the present time.

Mobile Money is a service that uses telecommunications accounts to pay for small-value goods and services, starting to be piloted in November 2021, after the State Bank granted pilot licenses to 3 businesses. first, including VNPT.
According to Decision 316/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister in 2021 on approving the Mobile Money pilot, customers using the service are individuals who register and use the service with the same mobile subscription number registration information. customer's actions, the business will pilot identification and authentication according to the Government's regulations on mobile subscription registration.
Through the pilot process, in order for the service to develop more smoothly in the future, VNPT Group has made some adjustments to the mechanism, such as allowing subscribers to have an unlimited activation time of at least 3 days. month; or increase the service limit from the current 10 million VND to 100 million VND (equivalent to the limit for e-wallets)...
