The Information Technology category of Vietnam Talent Awards 2017 is considered as a thrilling race of startups.

According to initial statistics from the organization board of the Awards, after the category’s submission deadline on October 15^th 2017, the organization board has received nearly 200 submissions. The process of submitted product updating and introducing on the Awards’ website is being done. This year, a large number of submissions in the Information technology category come from startup companies… Especially, a remarkable proportion of author teams belong to the 9x group.

With three main IT categories including Potential IT Product, Startup IT Product, Connecting and Mobile IT Product, Vietnam Talent Awards has truly become a real “playground” for startup enterprises. The organization board shared that, the introduction of the Startup IT Product category originated from the wish to encourage startup spirits in the ICT field, and to enlarge the playground for Vietnamese talents.

To attract submissions and to exchange information with startups, recently, Vietnam Talent Awards Organization Board teamed up with Vietnam Posts and Telecommunication Group to organize workshops titled “Industrial Revolution 4.0 – Opportunities for Startups?” at the three big cities: Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh city and Da Nang city with the participation of the startup community and especially the participation of prestigious experts, speakers and successful startups in the field of IT. Experience and lessons on startups’ road of success had been shared in these workshops.

Through the exchanges with the startup community, the Awards have reached its targets, strengthening the message that VNPT Group goes along with Vietnam’s startup community. These meaningful workshops has created new ideas and open new development directions for startups, as well as created favorable conditions for startups to learn and to perfect their products. This may be the reason why the Awards have been received strongly this year.

In the few coming days, the initial jury board of Vietnam Talent Awards 2017 will officially start to seek for most remarkable products among this year’s submission. These products will continue to the final round. As this year submissions are diversified and numerous, the competition will be fierce, and the jury board composing from leading IT and communication experts will have a hard time to choose the most outstanding faces to continue to the final round of the Awards.

Started by Vietnam Association for Promoting Education in 2005, to this moment, the 13 year-old Vietnam Talent Awards has become the national prestigious awards in the field of IT and Communication. Vietnam Talent Awards 2017 are organized by VNPT Group and Dantri Newspaper. VNPT Media Corporation is the media sponsor for the Awards.

The initial purpose of the awards lay in encouraging and honoring talents in the IT – Communication field. Throughout the years, the Awards are constantly expanded to search for talents in other fields in addition. In the past 12 years, many products and services honored each year have proved their value in all fields of life.
