VNPT-Media presents relief gifts in Ky Anh District, Ha Tinh province

The delegation of VNPT-Media Corporation had a visit and presented relief gifts to the people of Ky Thuong Commune, Ky Anh District, Ha Tinh Province, which were heavily affected by the typhoon No.10.

On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Nguyen Van Nhan - Deputy Secretary of the VNPT-Media’s Communist Party Committee, Chairman of the Labor Union of VNPT-Media Corporation presented gifts worth over 150 million VND in cash and moon cake as well as noodle packs to the people of Ky Anh district.

These were meaningful gifts that could support as well as encourage the families who had suffered from the storm no.10 to overcome the current difficulties. Ky Thuong Commune was one of the most damaged areas of the district. Households and individuals receiving relief gifts all suffered heavily from the storm; among them were those with houses collapses completely.

At the gift giving ceremony, Mr. Vu Trung Tien, Chairman of the Commune People's Committee acknowledged the meaningful work of VNPT-Media Corporation, which had paid attention to difficult areas, contributing to humanitarian cause. The representative of Ky Thuong Commune was deeply touched and thanked for the good sentiments of employees of VNPT-Media Corporation and believed that the presents of relief would be a great source of encouragement for households and individuals to overcome difficulties caused by the storm No. 10.

Earlier, shortly after the typhoon No.10 landed and caused severe damages to the central provinces of Vietnam, the staff of VNPT-Media Corporation responded to the trend- “For Central Viet Nam” by supporting at least one day's salary to share difficulties with the people in the typhoon zone.
