To ensure smooth and secure network operation during the Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday of 2026, VNPT has deployed nearly 1,000 technical personnel across its entire network.

Information from VNPT Group indicates that VNPT has deployed nearly 1,000 technical personnel across its entire network. This technical force will provide support on New Year’s Eve and online throughout the holiday period.
In addition, VNPT has deployed nearly 50 mobile broadcasting vehicles at key locations to be ready to provide mobile broadcasting in case of emergencies.
Previously, VNPT had implemented information security plans for the Tet holiday, reviewed network capacity, and updated information security plans and load-balancing measures for its network systems.
VNPT has implemented measures to ensure service quality for nearly 300 event and festival locations in provinces and cities during the Lunar New Year holiday, including adding field base stations, mobile base stations, and upgrading frequencies. VNPT has expanded international channel capacity to ensure smooth traffic flow during the holiday.
As a result, data traffic during the Lunar New Year increased by 13.09% year over year. Notably, international voice traffic increased by 67.82% compared to before the holiday and by 31.06% compared to the same period last year. However, compared to the general trend, voice traffic continued to decrease by 7.61%, and text message traffic decreased by 5.2% compared to last year, reflecting users shifting to OTT services.
According to VNPT Group, VNPT’s network systems are currently operating stably, with normal traffic flow.
