At the ceremony announcing the results of the Survey and Assessment of Service Quality of Public Digital Signature Certification Service Providers in 2025, organized by the National Electronic Authentication Center (NEAC) of the Ministry of Science and Technology on December 30, VNPT was once again recognized as the provider of the best quality digital signature services.
According to the published results, VNPT CA and VNPT SmartCA from VNPT are among the top five digital signature solutions rated by customers participating in the survey as having the best service quality in 2025. At the same time, VNPT-CA was also recognized as the CA with the best market share and price in 2025. Notably, this marks the third consecutive year in which VNPT has been honored for the most important criteria—service quality, market share, and price—affirming its reputation and leading position in the Vietnamese digital signature market.
The CA-Index for 2025, developed by NEAC, continues to be refined by adding more criteria that closely reflect practical usage. The survey recorded over 1,000 valid responses from businesses, organizations, and individuals. The results show that digital signatures are becoming essential tools in production and business activities, especially for small and household businesses, as tax, invoicing, insurance, and banking procedures are increasingly conducted entirely in the digital environment.
Leaders from the Ministry of Science and Technology and NEAC presented the certificate for the Digital Signature Solution with the best service quality in 2025 to a representative of VNPT.
With VNPT SmartCA, businesses and household businesses can digitally sign anytime, anywhere on their phones, without the need for a USB token or specialized equipment. This solution helps shorten document processing time, reduce operating costs, and minimize errors in electronic transactions such as tax declarations, electronic invoice issuance, contract signing, and banking transactions—frequent occurrences in business operations.
As the first remote digital signature solution in Vietnam licensed to provide public digital signature certification services, VNPT’s digital signature meets the European eIDAS security standard and the standards of the Ministry of Science and Technology. Having complete control over core technology, including the Signature Activation Module, helps VNPT ensure data security, providing peace of mind for businesses and households when conducting legally binding transactions.
Notably, VNPT-CA is the first unit to fully meet the security requirements to connect and provide the VNPT SmartCA remote digital signature service on VNeID. Accordingly, household businesses and small enterprises with level-2 electronic identity verification accounts can register, create, and use digital signatures directly on VNeID, facilitating the signing of administrative procedures and online public services free of charge, simply, and conveniently.
Currently, VNPT SmartCA has integrated with more than 2,000 systems and applications, including public service portals, tax, customs, and insurance systems, as well as electronic invoicing, electronic contracts, banking, and financial platforms. The solution is widely used in practice, from signing tax documents and sales invoices for household businesses to signing contracts and financial transactions for enterprises.
VNPT has implemented digital signature integration for many systems in various sectors, such as education (for teachers to sign student records), healthcare (for doctors and nurses to sign electronic medical records and prescriptions), and financial transactions, banking, and electricity and water contracts, all utilizing VNPT CA and VNPT SmartCA digital signatures.
To further promote digital signatures among the population, VNPT continues to implement a policy of free creation and signing on the Public Service Portal, along with many preferential packages offering unlimited digital signatures. Compared to traditional signing methods, digital signatures significantly save time, travel costs, and printing expenses, while enhancing professionalism and transparency in business operations.
