Importance and Trends of 5G and Wi-Fi 7 in 2025
2024 marks significant advancements in connection technology, particularly with the development of 5G and Wi-Fi 7 networks, establishing a solid foundation for 2025. According to the Global Mobile Suppliers Association (GSA), by the end of 2024, the world will have more than 320 commercial 5G networks and over 3,000 5G devices launched. Meanwhile, Wi-Fi 7 (IEEE 802.11be) is predicted to become the gold standard for wireless connectivity by 2025. VNPT at Internet Day 2024: Breakthrough with Pioneering Solutions

Additionally, VNPT's VinaPhone 5G network continues to make its mark with speeds 10 times faster than 4G and near-zero latency, supporting advanced applications such as telemedicine, industrial automation, and smart education. Furthermore, experts from VNPT introduced the VNPT Cloud Computing Ecosystem, developed on a modern infrastructure platform with eight data centers (IDCs) spread across the country, meeting international Tier 3 and ISO 27001 standards. This system also complies with strict information security standards such as ISO 27017, PCI DSS, and Level 3, ensuring high security and stability. This enables VNPT Cloud to provide flexible solutions that cater to diverse needs, from organizations and businesses to individuals and startups, including private cloud, hybrid cloud, and public cloud models, fulfilling all requirements in the digital transformation journey.
