VNPT-Media gets new chairman
On August 20th 2018, in Hanoi, Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Group's Board of Directors to appoint Mr. Huynh Quang Liem - Deputy General Director of the Group to also be the Chairman of VNPT Media Corporation (VNPT-Media). Mr. Liem officially commenced this duty from August 15th 2018.

Mr. Huynh Quang Liem was born in 1970. He has been working at VNPT for nearly 30 years in many important positions. In March 2017, Mr. Huynh Quang Liem was appointed as VNPT's Deputy General Director in charge of human resources and IT.
Speaking at the appointment ceremony, Mr. Huynh Quang Liem said that VNPT's current strategy is to become a leading digital service provider in Vietnam. In that strategy, VNPT-Media Corporation plays an important role. With the given assignment, he will work with VNPT-Media to develop new services, meeting the expectation of the Group.

VNPT-Media operates in the fields of research and development, television services, multimedia services, value added services and information technology. The corporation has 4 subsidiaries: Television Service Development Company, Media Service Development Company; Value-added Service Development Company and Software Development Company, along with the branches in the Central and South.
